Our History

Established since 1965, KURESA is a Peruvian Swiss company based in Lima, Peru. Our company's operations include research and development, coating, slitting, printing and packing of adhesive tape products as well as self adhesive labels. Our strengths lie in adhesive formualtion and efficient coating in various types of films or papers, thereby manufacturing adhesive tapes for different applications.

In 1980, KURESA acquired the technology and technical support of the Swiss company Cellux AG., one of the main suppliers of adhesive tapes in Europe . Since then, we had achieved a complete modernization of our manufacturing plant through the use of Swiss and Italian equipment. This development enabled KURESA to develop and produce high quality products with international standards accepted in the most demanding markets such as Europe 

With the achieved technological development and investments throughout the 80's and 90's, KURESA has excelled in the manufacturing of adhesives tapes under the recognized brand PEGAFAN, the national sales leader in the Peruvian market.

In 2000, KURESA launched a new modem plant to enter into the high-quality adhesive label market. With an investment of US$ 5.5 million in the division “PRIME LABEL”, KURESA is proud to have the most modern manufacturing plant for adhesive labels in South America with high tech Letterpress equipment and a sophisticated area of pre-press digital.

Since its inception, KURESA's main priority has always been satisfying the requirements of both the Peruvian and the international market. For this reason, and due to the dynamics of the globalization process, we have decided to re-position our development and growth strategies.

In the last three years, KURESA has done important investments in technology and equipment as well as improve its operational processes. These developments enable the company to manufacture and export high quality adhesive tapes and labels. These high value added products has demonstrated successful penetration rates in the most demanding markets around the world.
